Almost too real...
Having gone through something similar, and being self employed in this crappy economy, the portrayal was almost too real for me. From the pain of loss to the mundane beauty of life with a toddler...from trying to manage appointments with an active 2 year old looking on...to being terrified about your financial situation, to just craving a moment of fun now and then with your friends, this movie was filled with the rhythm and emotion of life. Right on!
Excellent Film!
Great acting by the entire cast especially the little leading man in the film. The film takes you through a range of emotions that any parent would feel when dealing with the loss of their loved one in the midst of struggling to raise their child. A beautiful story about life, love, loss and the human condition.
heartfelt and very warm intimate human moments
I really enjoyed this movie. I thought there was nice genuine human emotions and insight into what most people who are a 1-person caregiver have to face on a daily basis. I did love the innocent point of view from a child who has no clue as to what his parent is going through.
