Walk Away Renee [HD]

Great documentary on the truth
I really liked this film and how it documented the hardships of not only living with someone with a severe mental illness, but also dealing with the American mental health system, which from personal experience is beyond severely screwed up! It's always great to to see someone who deals with such things to have someone especially family by their side, because many, many do not. I would recommend this documentary as a top documentary in RAW storytelling of not only mental illness but the deep issues and flaws of the system that is supposed to support these souls. The more help you, or someone you love needs, the less the system can help you unfortunately. I wish Johnathan and Renee well. Take care.

Interesting a moving glimpse of a loving son dealing with his mother's chronic mental illness
Jonathan Caquette displays his personal patience not only with his mother but also with the frustrations of dealing with the health-care (a misnomer?) system as he follows his mother journey into and through mental illness and his loving devotion. It is interesting and moving and the editing deftly takes old film and video into a splice of life.
And then, of course, there is Kathy Biehl's voice.
